Bitcoin is a fascinating concept with lots of problems in practice: it's an environmental disaster, it leaves owners completely unprotected from being ripped off, and it is almost exclusively used for questionable things.
This is an example where Bitcoin is used effectively to survive in the midst of a completely collapsed economy. It is incredibly interesting.
The original HoloLens was flawed. But it was still a glimpse at the future. Version 2 allegedly improves on most of the shortcomings of the original. Hopefully I get a chance to play with it soon.
This is a completely impractical, unaffordable, probably crappy product. But it has a very high cool factor and I'm a sucker for gadgets. So in my book this is one of the coolest gadgets available today.
At that point, the days when American Jews can live comfortably within the Democratic fold will be numbered.
Do not underestimate the capacity of Democrats to self-sabotage ahead of the 2020 elections.

Cool visualization of largest known breaches since 2004.
WWI footage, restored, colorized and with added sound. Looks incredible.

ADL experts in its Center on Extremism developed this unique visualization with data points extracted from information sources including news and media reports, government documents (including police reports), victim reports, extremist-related sources, Center on Extremism investigations and more."
This is a very good video essay about the use of disinformation as a weapon by the KGB. Especially interesting, needless to say, given what's happening around the world in the last couple of years.
