Looks amazing. I can't believe they put Kings of Leon and Beastie Boys at the same time. That's just mean.
Next Monday will be the launch of Cerati's new song "Déjà vu". It's been a long wait...
It's been a long wait... but it will be worth it.
This is really neat.
"In this series I showcase a number of portraits of musicians made out of recycled cassette tape with original cassette. Also included are portraits made from old film and reels. The idea comes from a philosopher's (Ryle) description of how your spirit lives in your body. I imagine we are all, like cassettes, thoughts wrapped up in awkward packaging. : )"
The classic Sonora Dinamita song is really a cover song of a cover song.
Even smaller. Voice over controls. Very nice.
Online music store by the Mexican music store chain. 256 kbps MP3 (no DRM). Still in beta, but it will be interesting to see if they let people outside of Mexico buy and what the selection and audio quality (hopefully they are not ripping from CDs, but from higher quality masters!) will be like. It is worthy of note that iTunes does not sell music in Mexico yet (they do sell iPhone/iPod touch apps).
Announcing U2's tour. They're doing it exclusively in stadiums so people can sit around the stage. I wonder if they'll announce dates around my area.
This is an interesting interview from 2003. It's interesting to see how pretty much everything Steve Jobs predicted became true, even though most of it sounded almost impossible back then. Dell DJ? Ha! An iPod clone by MS? Ha!
It's up! the 2011 showcase.
A 2 CD, 2 DVD combo of Soda Stereo's 2007 tour is coming out in 2 weeks and it's packed with content. Excellent.
Jimmy Kimmel gets back at girlfriend Sarah Silverman. Good for Jimmy!
