I have been following Bitcoin since long before it started showing up in mainstream news. I find it to be a fascinating economy experiment unleashed in the real world. This is the first moral evaluation of it that I have seen from a real economist. The article he links is also interesting.
We always trash Walmart as the big bad retail corporation. Amazon is just as bad, but we (myself included) love their public-facing side: great prices, great service, great selection. The other side is the one we don't see.
