The big takeaway is that all the US-based carriers except for T-Mobile are crooks.

As if you need another reason to drop AT&T or Verizon. Not only do they rip you off, lock you in horrible contracts, sell you locked phones, etc. They also invade your privacy and track all the internet browsing you do through their network.

Spoiler: AT&T and Verizon are shameless crooks.

In two hours, between 3 and 5 in the morning, Verizon sold more iPhones than any other phone ever on its first day. That's pretty amazing.

As an answer to those "There's a map for that" commercials, Apple and AT&T have put this ads out. The thing is, Verizon's 3G coverage is better than AT&T's, but Verizon's 3G network technology is slower and technically inferior than AT&T's. As the ads point out, on you Verizon Droid, you cannot be on the phone and use data at the same time. I always use that on my iPhone.
