Batter Blaster is (was) great and I'm legitimately saddened that it is out of business.
Impressive video camera can do 1080p HDR video. You may or may not know (or care) what this means... but check out in the second video the shot of someone soldering. You have never seen something like this on video look so clear.
I linked to GoPano before. This is a video taken with a very similar (or the same?) techonology. It's a 360 degree video of the riots in Vancouver. Awesome (the tech, not the riots).
Caricatures are hard. To make them look easy is even harder!
GoPano technology for the iPhone. I don't know what the quality will end up being, but this basically allows you to shoot contiguous 360 degree video. So cool.
This is brilliant: A "lens" that is actually a specially curved mirror that allows a camera to capture a full 360 degree panorama at once. Capture video this way and then use software to play it back where you can pan around QTVR style. Imagine this on an iPhone with touch... wow.
This is a cool video from Bell Labs (1968) that explains the basics on how computer works and whether they can think of not. Forty years later we can see how the principles apply, the challenges are the same - but a lot of progress has been made on all these fronts. Very well made.
Better start getting ready.
Soooo pretty.
I swear kids today have the coolest toys. If I was six or seven, I'd get lots of enjoyment out of this thing.
I only expect a specific subset of my readers to understand this.
You've gotta see this YouTube video. Very funny and clever.
If you want to video-conference with iPhone 4 and the new iPods from your Macs. And you know you want to.
Prepare to be Amazed.
They haven't streamed their events in years and years. Might mean they have something big. Or simply that they are going to start streaming again.
Awesome music video.
A Barbie I would have actually played with as a kid.
And no: this is not a dirty video.
Warhol's 15 minutes of fame turn into $150k dollars.
