These aren't scenes from Star Wars VIII. The incredible photoso are of the Sahara desert covered with snow.
Awesome.
Impressive photos. I really have giant iPhone camera envy.
I find this pretty wild.
Apple wants to put a camera in its phone that can take photos similar to what you accomplish on an SLR with a big lens with a big aperture. Can't get the optics to fit.
So instead: They put two cameras in the phone, each with a small aperture; perform intensive computation in order to create a depth map based on the offset of the two photos, then digitally apply gaussian blur to the right areas of the image.
Same effect?
This is very cool, different photographs taken by each iPhone ever made, each presenting its own challenges.
These photos were taken with a cell phone!
Cool article, compares the cameras on all the iPhones.
Some nice tips and apps I never heard about. Worth watching if you give a damn about taking decent photos and often do it with an iPhone.
Stunning images.
Very good, albeit simplistic article on Sony's newer cameras. They look great!
Very cool map visualization shows the most photographed places in the world.
Incredible photography of incredible people.
Impressive.
Detailed (and I mean DETAILED) review of the iPhone 5s as a camera.
This is a great idea, maybe the future of photography (move over Lytro)... but only if they can get resolution up and video. This first attempt is still too much of a toy.
I had never seen the "after" photo.
Incredible photo, you can zoom in A LOT.
Historical black and white photos, colorized.
Soccer balls, all over the world. The true world sport.
